It’s Easier to Not Care for Your Physical Health & Body!

Current research is showing Caregivers are 208% more then likely to make poor health & body activities choices like  

  • smoking,
  • binge drinking,
  • foods & limited activities which lead to overweight and obesity.

Are you choosing, smoking to relax or avoid frustration or to feel better?

Are you having a few drinks and then a couple more and it’s still not feeling right so you grab another drink, just to get some relief, some enjoyment to numb the pain?

Are you choosing comfort foods or other poorer choices? To make you feel better?

Are you choosing limited activities which lead to overweight and obesity?

Successful people are choosing alternatives to each of these choices.

Try another way…

Smoking – to get your frustration out or try deep breathing – relaxation techniques, meditation, exercise.

Binge drinking – to numb the pain for a little while or try coming and chatting online to help ease the pain and help someone else going through a challenge maybe even greater then your challenge! Go for a walk, meet a neighbour, discover the outdoors, enjoy a hobby.

Write a list of areas you would like to change in your life.

Now beside each one write the reason you want to change.

What are the consequences if you do not change in a year?

What are the consequences if you do not change in 5 years?

What are the consequences if you do not change in 10 years?

What will your family and friends say when you change?

What roadblocks do you see?

How will you solve these roadblocks this time?

What is different this time?

Who can you ask for help?

How will you feel 12 months from now after you make the choice today?

Start today caring for you, so you are around to care for your Loved One!

Foods & Non-activities – the long term effects can lead to overweight and obesity. The challenge is the choice is in the moment what you choose to do.

For some reason the choice to sit in a chair, watching whatever TV or sitting on computer day after day… is a choice… it can lead to increased diminished ability to cope in an emergency situation. Cycle of Choices.

You are more valuable then other peoples agendas, you are important then other peoples schedules, you are more vital then the latest happenings of a game or reality program!

You are worth it. You deserve to be cared for too. You are important too! Discover the experience of a minimum of30 minutes of movement every day!

Keeping you healthy physically and healthy emotionally is vital in being the Best Caregiver you can.
